This Special Edition of the IET Software Journal (formerly IEE Software) on Domain-Specific Aspect Languages is set up in the context of the domain-specific aspect languages workshops held in 2006 at the ACM GPCE conference (DSAL 2006) and in 2007 at the ACM AOSD conference (DSAL 2007).
Selected authors from the workshops have been contacted to contribute. The call was also open to external contributions. We thus solicit for extended versions of technical papers in the field of domain-specific aspect languages.
Current status: The second review round has been completed. Authors should receive their notification by October 24th, 2008. A third review round is necessary, before a final decision can be made.
